John Tiner & Partners was established in 1995 as a result of several Russian and international lawyers joining their Russia / CIS - related practices to form one integrated group. Our European headquarters are situated in Geneva at the offices of John Tiner & Partners SA. The Swiss entity is responsible for the international services to our clients and has a representative office in Moscow and a subsidiary in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. In Russia our practice is organized in the form of an Advocates’ Collegium’ (bar chambers) “John Tiner & Partners” – an association of bar admitted lawyers practicing under our firm's name within the Moscow Bar Chamber. The Russian practice of John Tiner & Partners is headed by Valery Tutykhin (qual. International Law Faculty, MGIMO). In Kyrgyzstan the legal practice is organized as a professional corporation ZAO John Tiner & Partners (Central Asia). Among our clients are several of the largest companies in the oil & gas, metallurgy, wood and mining industries and a number of multinational corporations and banks active in the ex-USSR countries. Besides, a significant part of our practice is attending to the needs of high net-worth individuals and their families. John Tiner & Partners enjoys the status of a “preferred service provider” with private banking departments of a number of largest Russian banks, Russian subsidiaries of major international banks as well as several private banks actively working with HNWIs from outside the ex-USSR countries. Our emphasis in private client services is on asset protection strategies both within and outside Russia / CIS. |
